this was the 2nd year in a row that we were here on christmas day! we went to all angels for christmas eve as greeters (including cooper who asked everytime someone walked by... "eh is it?"). the next day, we opened presents and went to benihana with the yosts for dinner. on the 26th we flew to dallas to spend time with grandma carol, grandpa richard, uncle sam, aunt ellie, kumo and masako.  we had a lot of fun and packed it in with activities. we went to see ICE at gaylord with uncle sam. we went to all the malls to ride choo choo trains and play on the foam structures. we went to pump it up for a noon countdown new years eve party. we had play dates with cousin casey, auntie gina, dorothy and volki. then before we left, we went to legoland too!

grandma merry and paw paw stayed with us for a pre-christmas celebration! we went to the lessons and carols service at all angels and bryn and bailey went with them to see the nutcracker for the first time.

initially we were sad that the instinet offices moved. we thought, no more thanksgiving parade viewing. but luckily, daddy pig pulled through! he got us into the bank of america building just across the street for an even fancier thanksgiving parade viewing. crazy balloon artists, streaming movies, lots of food, coloring books and more! then we had a lazy day as we went to cooper's first movie, the good dinosaur. and topped it off with no turkey in sight. just mexican food at AG Kitchen.

ack. so behind with this blog. BUT definitely wanted to document the recent holidays... starting with halloween! this year, bailey was princess merida, i was a bullseye, and cooper was the baby brother bear (from brave). bryn was princess belle and matt was her beast (from beauty and the beast). we went back to evan and nico's riverside halloween bash. each kid had school parties/parades. AND this year because halloween fell on a saturday, we were all able to trick or treat at the 69th street block party before trick or treating in our lincoln towers building. SO MUCH CANDY!
