for spring break this year, we visited grandma carol and grandpa richard in dallas. it was fun to get to play some golf, hang out with family and get to meet uncle sam's new girlfriend ellie and her dog kumo. in addition to going to the mall and local playgrounds 800 times, we went to the dallas aquarium and the perot science museum too!
today our little bailey turned 6. time sure flies! she is a little lady now. she continues to surprise me with her kindness and intelligence daily.
today at school, all her friends said really nice things about her.... from "i like how you are kind to your friends" to "i love you, bailey." kids can be so pure and awesome.
tonight, we went to benihana to celebrate. there, on the kids menu, bailey did her first sudoku puzzle with no help. she continues to prove that she gets her good looks and charm from her mother. heh. just kidding.
last saturday, the celebration began with 19 of her friends partying at appleseeds! she is a pretty lucky kid.
our little firecracker sweetheart turned 3 last saturday. in the last year, there have been moments when she's acted like she's already 13 years old going on 21. but throughout it all, she has packed in more sweetness and love than all the 3 year olds in the world.
she is very much her own little princess and she was thrilled when queen elsa showed up to her birthday party!

bailey lost her first tooth last wednesday (the day before thanksgiving). she went to wobble it with her finger at lunch and there was no tooth to wobble. instead, she found some blood on her finger!
so miss denise sent her to the nurse with her friend. there, she got her mouth rinsed out and a cool little blue tooth holder/necklace.
meanwhile, miss denise fished through her lunch for the tooth and searched the ground too! after finding a piece of cheese that she thought was bailey's tooth, she then located the real deal! hooray.
that night, bailey put her tooth under her pillow. the next morning, in its stead, she received 5 $1 gold coins from the tooth fairy!
so much to be thankful for (especially for family and friends).
this year, we went to instinet's thanksgiving parade party again. cooper skipped his morning nap and partied like a big kid. AND he managed to stay awake until we got home for his nap. the girls, on the other hand, passed out in the stroller as soon as we got to the subway station.
we had a fancy dinner (just the 5 of us) at porter house in nyc where bryn got to drink out of a martini glass. then the next day, we got a visit from grandma merry!
on saturday, bailey, grandma merry and i went to new jersey for aunt denise's baby shower. baby bingo, lots of food and a chance to see uncle john and uncle mike too!
pumpkin carving, ps 199 halloween parade, 69th street celebrations - where we were briefly on the news, trick or treating/giving out candy in our building. halloween was a grand time for everyone.
