on friday, grandma and grandpa headed back to michigan thus ending a month of family visits as well as bailey's first month of life.

a new baby, family camped out in the living room, and a big lazy beagle under the roof of a space-challenged new york city apartment can be stressful without a doubt. however, reflecting on the past month, i can't fathom having it any other way. in fact, the past month has revealed the abundance matt and i have in our lives. we are truly blessed.

grandma lam and hunt and grandpa lillvis gave so generously of themselves to make sure bailey's life in our family got off to a good start. they cooked, cleaned, walked the (big, lazy) beagle, and most importantly unconditionally loved us.
