for the past few weeks, bailey and i have been getting the blood flowing by going on morning walks along the west side highway with "aunt shlomit". bailey is usually in a pretty good mood in the mornings and likes to watch us get our morning coffee. sometimes she tries to talk as we talk. other times she just catches an early morning nap.
over the course of her short 3 months of life, bailey has now encountered a few celebrities (ann curry, ira glass, mary kate olsen, jennifer connelly, to name a few). but up until today, she played it cool and never bothered any celebrities for a photo.
as shlomit and i were returning from our morning walk today, we saw hugh jackman and his daughter ava outside west 11th st cafe. since bailey is such a huge fan, we had to stop and get a pic. hugh jackman really isn't that tall. i'm squatting to make sure his daughter gets in frame, but it has created the effect of a rather awkward family photo.
