we picnicked with more vietnamese sandwiches in the park (note: matt and i average about 8 of these a week from num pang). DELICIOUS!

then we had a great bbq in brooklyn heights (pictured here) at sean and dana's. bailey partied with all the old folks and got to see 2 yr-old ella again too. she smiled at everyone and didn't even mind the loud bootie-shaking music.

bailey and i have also been going on long walks along the hudson river with a new mom from the neighborhood and with aunt shlomit. :-)  with all this activity, she had her first super long stretch of sleep last night (a full 7 hours—hooray!). 

here's bailey in her newly acquired Bumbo. she's technically not supposed to use it until she can hold her head up, but it seems to be good practice since she loves it for short bursts of time.
