this weekend, both of bailey's grandmas called and asked for more videos! here's a personal shout out to them and if you follow this link, you can see even more videos.

bailey turned 2 months old this week, and it has been treating her quite well. during her 6th and 7th weeks, she was VERY grunty. it sounded like she was having a difficult time digesting her food, so we tried giving her some mylicon (which helped only a little). but everyone at the new mom groups told me it would pass. and last week—week 8, it did. she still grunts from time to time, but overall, she has been in much better spirits. also, she's progressively had more awake time during the day, and it seems that she has even started to have "conversations" with more complex sounds. also this past week, i experimented with pumping and bringing a bottle out with me. thankfully, she's taken to it really well (although she still prefers the boobs).

yesterday, she met her aunt denise, uncle john and uncle mike. she really liked them all! uncle john tried the football hold on her and aunt denise told her all sorts of fun stories. together, we went to the rubin museum where bailey learned about tibetan art and then we had a nice dinner at kingswood. she can't wait to see them again tomorrow in new jersey.
